I've been working on my portfolio recently, and I was looking through my old sketchbooks. I found two drawings of hair that I wanted to share with you -
basically, a girl I was studying with, was sitting opposite of me and first she was drawing then she was listening to the lecture. I've always admired her clothing style and how amazing her hair looked with what she was wearing, she had really beautiful vibrant red hair (dyed - although it looked pretty convincing). That particular day she was wearing a rather 'messy' bun (if you can call this a bun at all) and I was fascinated with how nicely it looked. Well, because she was in those two positions for a little while (maybe less than 10 mins or so) I could sketch her. and from what I remember she was pleased too with the results :) Anyway, here they are:

The paper seems a little grey, that's because it's a photograph - I tried colouring them but I'm not ready to post the results :o I'll think about it. Maybe after the weekend I'll properly scan them and colour :) Enjoy! If you want I'll keep looking through my sketchbooks in search of hair :D
