My First Henna!!

I've been vacillating between cassia and henna for a few months now. I love my natural blonette color but I've been a bit discouraged with my hair lately. A major stress shed three years ago means that, from my bra strap down to the end (tailbone) is super thin and very prone to breakage. It needs help and nothing helps like henna. I have always loved red hair and have the complexion to carry it so I took the plunge yesterday! I slept with it and rinsed it this morning before church. When I walked into the building a dear friend gasped and started babbling about spending hundreds of dollars and hours at the salon to get this color, back in her younger days. :D I love this color and kinda wish it would stay this way and yet I'm also excited to see what it oxidizes to!

Thanks! My hair is healthy, just thin at the bottom. You can see the demarcation, where it drastically thins. It goes from tangly curls to two pig tails. I have a double crown so I have two pig tails at the bottom of my hair that spiral in opposition to each other. :rolleyes:

A week later it's oxidized quite a bit darker but still very orange. :cool: My second application day is marked on the calendar and I'm just twiddling my thumbs till then. I just flopped it down out of it's updo and handed my dad the camera so it's not quite as close up as the first one. I've also had to change a hair care routine that's worked since 2009! CO washing just doesn't work on my hair anymore so I'm going to try CWC for awhile.
