I absolutely LOVE the Ren fair.. and I took my best friend along for her first visit. Can't wait to go next year to go ogle over the many shirtless pickle guys. :crush:

Went to a very, VERY early ren faire when it first started up at Bristol, WI - may still be there? They didn't have hair braiding yet and, oh, how I wish they had, for my hair was fabulously long and thick then - something like 30 years ago.

Only for season. I know a lot of folks who did that as part of their circuit. I still think of it as "the Chicago show." Everyone was stoked to go to Field museum and the art museum.
