Just after I made the decision to go super long again nearly three years ago I saw Torrin Paige's video for how to do Elizabethan hair taping and I remember feeling rather dejected and thinking "surely my hair will never be long enough to do that".
Well, fast forward to today and I suddenly thought "hang on a second, why don't I try that hair taping thing, I bet it's long enough now?" This is the result. I need a little more practice to get it looking neat, and there are a few tricks for hiding the hair tie at the bottom that I haven't tried yet (such as a flip-through before you do the two braids, starting it with two dutch braids instead etc.) but regardless I'm soooooo pleased that I'm finally able to do this style :D
