so is there a thread that explains all of the abbreviations? And what is "micro trim" ?

That’s funny, I was doing a Google search on how small is a micro trim myself (it’s about inch).

Here is one thread that explains most (if not all) of them :)

I know what you mean, it can be quite confusing. Here is the link to the thread on abbreviations: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=54874&highlight=abbreviations

Also, yes, a microtrim is a very small trim, about 1/4 inch.

It's about a 1/4 inch trimmed off your hair.

My husband asked me what TBL meant yesterday.. I said "Why did you get on Long Hair Community?" Ha! What a sneak. It took me a while to figure out what everything was: namely, IMO, DH/DS/DD etc, and expecially YMMV. You'll get it after a while!
(in my opinion, dear husband(i think!)/dear son/dear daughter, and your mileage may vary)

I read the references thread but there are a couple of terms and abbreviations that are not on there! Maybe we can make this thread a dictionary for those that are not on the other thread? I will wrack my brain and try to think of specific examples.

BCL confused me for a whole day before I realized that it meant "butt-crack length." The first time I saw it, I thought it was a typo on BSL! ;p
