Spotty porosity! (AKA a mix of low/normal/high porosity) Possible?

On the same head, is it possible? The reason I am starting to think of this is that because I have parts of my head that take 3 hours to air-dry (most of my head) and a few strands that dry quickly and they are very coarse from the root!

Can one have a mix of porosity on the same head? Or is it more likely for the texture to be originally different which is posing its natural porosity in the first place?

Well, it is not unusual to have different textures on your head - some strands might be thicker or thinner, and some may be more wavy/curly than others. But hair will never dry exactly at the same time; the top layer is likely to dry faster, as it is more exposed to the air, while the bottom layer is more 'enclosed', if you know what I mean. But yes, it is possible. :)
