3 Years anniversary

Oh my i really can't believe its 3 years since i signed up i wasn't going to bother as this last year my length has been back and forth between waist and hip but, i thought i might inspire some people as previously it was never longer than shoulder length. I have gained so much knowledge of long hair care and tried all sorts of things including CWC,Co washing,WO oils and henna which i stopped and went back to to help with the damage as its always red anyway .


So back in 2010 before i signed up it was like this

After 1 year it was this long

Then cut it back up to BSL to rid myself of layers

Here is my hair after 2 years it reached waist in that time

I seem to have a constant battle with myself over thinner ends once it gets near hip but, i am going with micro trimming again. Thanks for looking.

Are you a natural curly? And have your waves increased or did you straighten in the first pic?
I am myself attempting to get my waves back but henna smoothens it for me.

Oh thank you :D More wavy than curly but recently i have stopped combing and brushing and its gone really quite curly. You can do it i just want to get beyond this not nearly hip hair but if i stop doing big chops and micro trim i could get to TB by Christmas hopefully .

Beautiful hair! I wouldn't worry about the thinner ends ,I cut my curly hair back twice to waist only to find the ends clumped together again as soon as it grew out a bit,looking thinner,I suspect it is a curly hair thing.I think your hair looks great..

Aww thanks so much everyone for all the lovely comments..I did have a fringe but grew it into a side swept one it's about chin length wavy ::)
