Hello everyone!

I thought I'd share my progress, I think I'm just about at shoulder.

Hair story: Started with BSL hair in summer 2011, henndigo, regret, colour b4, colour b4, colour b4.... it worked for a week or so then darkened back to vile orange every time. Gave up and henndigoed again, then chopped to pixie in Jan 2012. Grew out my natural colour, then stayed at pixie until about July.

It was very short and I kept chopping off the dreaded mullet- in October 2012 I had only got to a long pixie:

By Jan 2013 after some more trims I was at chin-ish

Then one more trim in March to even out more layers, and now in Jul 2013 I'm brushing shoulder, still a few chin length layers in front. It looks a bit dark and weird here because I put oil in it.

The best thing is that now I can put it up and forget about it! Goal is somewhere between BSL and waist. I hope it lightens up a bit on the way, it usually does.

Anyway, thought I'd share the pics in case anyone's wondering how long it would take to grow from pixie. Happy growing everyone.

Ooh! Very inspirational for me as my hair is currently about the length of your second photo but with shorter layers. It's looking great!

Ah browneyedsusan, I think I started only a couple of months after you... looking at your progress I wish I had brazened it out and gone "full mullet", yours is so long now!

Nah! Judging from your pics, yours looked great while you were growing it, and still looks great. My hair was ugly and awkward for many months. Your hair looks super nice, and you've done a good job with it.

You've had good progress the past year and a half and your hair has certainly grown fast. Congratulations.

That's brilliant progress! I used to dread the pixie grow-out stage so much I spent years with pixie hair! The mullet was the most annoying but you're past that, good for you :D It only gets easier from here (I hope).
