A little hair story (with pics) :)

Hi there!
I just wanted to share my hair story with you all. This forum is very inspiring and earlier this year I reached my desired length at hip. This is a little post just sharing my hair growth.
I'm trying to maintain it by micro trimming but I think I shall go and visit the hairdresser soon before I start working again. I am not opposed to waiting again for it to become hip length because I reached it quite fast. :)
In june 2011 I started to use CO and I became interested in hair :). I joined here a bit later and I have learned a lot, but I'm not so good at implementing all I read, haha. I still do CO added with some allergy friendly schampoo now and then. I've been battling scalp eczema for over a year now and I am happy I got to meet a skin specialist this spring because now it's almost gone. :) Anyway,my scalp is almost happy and my hair is very happy to be long. I hope you enjoy my photos!

Yes it's my natural color. Thank you! The ends still have a bit of highlight in them that I did in 2009, but it blends it pretty well. :)

The specialist gave me a prescription for a strong cortisone solution to use on my scalp. I've had scalp eczema once before (8 years ago) and used the same solution that time. This time I tried a really long time with more natural care at first (oils and such) and I actually met the specialist because of allergy testing and my eczemas on my hands (which is completely gone now!) but he took a look at my scalp too. He also warned me agains SLS and stupid me washed my hair twice with a SLS shampoo 2 weeks ago (to clean my hair from hair spray residue) and the eczema (that was almost gone) came back again. So now I'm doing the cortisone solution a second time. :)
