What can I use to give my hair extra texture and volume?

Hi,

My hair is coarse and quite curly (varies from tight s-shaped curls to ringlets to loose waves, depending in humidity, how dry it is etc.) and I'd like a product that gives me a little extra texture/ body, even though I usually don't need this.

I started a thread on the mane forum about styling my hair like Helena Bonham Carter's Mrs. Lovett, and I want to add some product before I twist and pin so it holds the style better and has more oomph.
