Stunning... but I kinda prefer Daenerys' hair. I don't even know why. probably because it's impossible to achieve naturally. I dressed up as her a few weeks ago, it was a challenge to make the wig look right - especially when there was some of my dark hair poking out :/

Haha I had hair that white (see siggy) but it's SUCH a pain in the bottom, so much upkeep, so so damaging that I really don't care for that colour anymore haha. I actually knew someone with that hair naturally (she was around 17, so not really young or really old, like it's mostly the case with white hair), it was very very pretty! But I've never seen hair like hers again.

I also think Dany's wig looks horrible most of the time so I actually prefer the red haired ladies on the show :D Maybe I'm biased though :P

well, I guess you being a red head yourself - that makes perfect sense :P

I'm actually more into the books than the show, I only watched some of the 1st series so I don't know how the characters are styled later on in the show - but I do think Daenerys looks stunning as a character, especially on pictures!
Although her hair is just - well, reaaally unrealistic. especially considering the circumstances she lives in. her fine hair constantly in the sun, while riding a horse in a cute half up with a few braids thrown in ;) it would neeever be that long and nice. And it doesn't go with her skin colour and all. it's just so unnatural, she is too tanned to have that hair I think.

Aren't albinos the few ones who have this colour of hair naturally? And elder people whose hair is not silver but white? The wig I used for D's hair was originally a Gandalf the White style wig (with a beard!), I had to reshape the pattern to make it look more like her hair.

I don't know, but I wasn't thrilled about Sansa's hair in the 1st series; it kinda seems oily and thin and plastered to her head without any volume. But I must admit the actress'
hair is BEAUTIFUL on the pictures your posted, that colour, so subtly strawberry...

Keep in mind though that most celebrities use extensions to quickly fake the long look! I know for a fact that Nicole Scherzinger uses extensions. Without them her hair is actually quite short.
But I guess with all the heat celebrities have to use its understandable that they need to cheat a bit to keep up. Still it's kind of sad that it's the rare celebrity with real hair!

it is very famous - in Poland :) but it's a really interesting read actually, the books are well written if you are into this kind of literature. The film is worth watching even if just for Izabella's amazing hair... :)

it is very famous - in Poland :) but it's a really interesting read actually, the books are well written if you are into this kind of literature. The film is worth watching even if just for Izabella's amazing hair... :)
the author (Sienkiewicz) is known here only for his book Quo Vadis--I never knew about the Trilogy until I met some Poles. Actually, even Quo Vadis is not that popular here anymore and only older people have heard of it. I have been meaning to read The Trilogy and feel encouraged to do so by your post. Haha I had hair that white (see siggy) but it's SUCH a pain in the bottom, so much upkeep, so so damaging that I really don't care for that colour anymore haha. I actually knew someone with that hair naturally (she was around 17, so not really young or really old, like it's mostly the case with white hair), it was very very pretty! But I've never seen hair like hers again.

I've known two people in my life who had that white blonde hair and were over the age of six. One was my college roomate. She was not an albino--natural white blonde hair looks different from an albino's hair or from grey hair. It still has some pale yellow/gold highlights in it and looks very alive, not dead and flat like bleached hair. She also did not have pink albino eyes but very dark blue, almost purple eyes. And white eyelashes and white eyebrows (fixed with mascara and eyebrow pencil) and beautiful almost translucent peachy pale skin. The other person I knew was a young man in high school and he looked very similar, except without the mascara so with his natural white eyelashes. Both were extremely attractive and very striking. Looking at them made you see why people bleach their hair to this color, although it never looks the same as it does naturally because the skin, eyes, lashes, etc. do not match and the hair is never right--bleached blonde hair is so flat compared to this natural color.
My roomate kept that hair color until she was about thirty and then she had a baby and became a more usual kind of blonde, dark blonde (but with no brown in it until she was about forty when she started to go brown and gray at the same time).
I don't know what happened to the young man who I never saw past the age of eighteen.
But yes, it does exist. it is just really, really rare. And I don't know about growing it extremely long. My roomate could not grow her hair past bra strap. It was so very fine and delicate, though she did have a great deal of hair in terms of the amount. She had a very slight wave--maybe was 1b or 1c?
We are still very good friends; she dyes her hair now to a dark blond color to cover the grey. She is an attractive older woman--but from the ages of about 20-30 she was an astonishing beauty, because of that striking (and completely natural) hair.
It was not common for women to bleach their hair blond at this time (the 1970's) everyone was into the natural look and women did not dye their hair much in those days in general. Hair dye was not the way it is now and was very obvious looking. We were very good friends and together all the time and I am positive it was completely natural--never any roots, never any anything.

I'm allways sceptical about celebrities' hair, because in the pictures you never know if that "shine" is real or just photoshoped. They change their hair styles from short to long all the time and the collors are allways different.. I think that beautiful healthy look is created for only that moment, because there's no way anyones hair can take so much dying and styling products and still be healthy. Though maybe some of them really take care of their hair, but i don't think thay have time for that, so i don't know....Those beautiful locks seem fake to me....
