Hee all!

I wanted to share my two years progress with you all! Plus my indigo accident removal!

Let's start in 2010, a while before I joined LHC and did my first succesfull henna:

Januari 2012: getting there! Still on henna

A few months later, getting long!

Here I was at my longest before a trim, I've about reached the same length right now. This was in januari 2013:

And an undercut, because I needed a change. I love it! Here I also did a DDD in pink over my henna: (this is probably march 2013, I reached BSL here but it was damaged and needed a trim so I was back at pretty much APL a few weeks later :()

Aannnd this is where I messed up and decided to do two chemical dyes (Mysterious dark violet was the name of the second, and it took BLACK), after which I did a henndigo caca Noir by Lush. I liked it for two weeks but after the lush I was done with it in two days...

sooooo..
I did a very large amount of vitamin C mixed with clarifying shampoos, many many times that week, and after that very very very carefully tried a little Spray Blonde (Dutch Sun-In I guess). To my great amazement it did NOT turn green!!!
I was surprised and guessed that the indigo was mostly lifted by the vit C probably and I was bleaching the remaining chemical box dyes.
I proceeded and in a few days went from almost black with purple and reddish highlights to:

Which I am dead proud of. I hereby vow to never let my horrible fickleness get in the way of good hair again. Thanks to a lot of coconut oil and henna my hair was not fried by the Spray Blond. I've learned not to mess with a good thing though :)

I think I have reached BSL, what do you think? Or do I have a little more to go?

I must note that my hair is wavier on the last pic because I slept with a braid! I usually have just one wave, sometimes two and sometimes none at all due to henna

I think you've got a tiny bit more to go for BSL, but it's hard to tell with the braid waves. Nice color though, glad you got rid of the indigo!

This is a clearer picture, my hair kind ends where I'm holding it but due to lighting it's hard to tell.. can't wait to get a better camera :3

Wow! I'm a "natural look" girl myself, but maybe because of that I really enjoy it when a person can carry off some of the wild looks you've had as well as you do. Thanks for sharing the great pictures!

Hmm, I think you've reached BSL- but if you haven't, you're certainly really close, and you'll be there in a month or two.

I think you are BSL, and it could be my imagination, but I'd say your chin might be tucked slightly, making your hair look maybe shorter than it really is. You have amazing eyes btw .

Thanks all :) I'm so happy I have red hair again, and it being healthy is enough to be glad! I'm aiming for just about waist length by christmas. Ambitious, but worth a shot :P Without all the messing about I grow a lot faster!

I have trimmed twice. I think in total I trimmed about 10 cms. Now I S&D and put off another actual trim as long as I can
