Just imagining the airport security going through my suitcase makes me laugh at the possible reaction but scared that they might call me up and ask me questions. Has anyone done this? I know there's a thread about hairsticks on the plane, what about vinegar?

I took vinegar in my checked luggage in the past (3 or 4 years ago), and I did not have any problems from security. They opened my bag, as they always do because I tend to bring weird things like homemade deodorant and hair oils. I've never had a problem from them searching my bag & they've never called me back for it.

On carry on, I've found that they want me to label my containers (I think they would prefer commercial products, but I avoid those).
