Hi everyone,

I've been lurking on this seller on etsy for a while and I was wondering if any of you tried it?

They look so pretty and the shipping is reasonnable outside US.

Here is one of them.

Never seen that seller before but they ARE beautiful! I have to wonder how well they'd hold though, maybe they're more a "secure bun then stick it in for decoration" thing.

I have a vintage silver kanzashi. It will hold most buns up by itself, though they have to be done tighter than normal because the stick is so thin. Also, the angle of insertion is important. Horizontal placement doesn't hold as well as vertical or a slant. I wore it the other day to put my hair while damp into a nautilus bun with the kanzashi horizontal so my hat would fit. An hour or so later I had a chance to take my hair down and let it dry and could not get it back into a nautilus for more than a minute once it was dry. If I'd left it alone it would probably been stable all day. I finally remembered that a dry nautilus won't work with the thin slippery kanzashi and went with an Equilibrium Bun and that held the rest of the day.

Just had a look and her sticks are very pretty. I wish I had enough hair to justify buying one. :(
