Does anyone have pics of themselves at BCL & TBL please? Slimming effect?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for comparison shots of those 2 lengths on the same person, so I can see which is more flattering. I remember a thread by luxepiggy where she was talking about this very subject and had some pics where tbl (i think?) was more flattering in her opinion. I seem to have developed a general belief that TBL has a slimming effect compared to hip or bcl but im basing that on very little. I'm close to maintaining at bcl but if the slimming effect is true then obvi i will grow on.

I'm not sure it makes a whole lotta difference. Although sometimes I think longer hair makes you seem shorter somehow :confused:

I looked fat at tailbone length and I look fat at mid tight because I am well fat.

Did I just hear a call for TBL or thereabouts on fat folk? I'm pretty sure I just heard a call for TBL on fat folk. :D

Sorry, I got quite busy around the TBL milestone, but I hope that helps a bit! :) I definitely agree with Piggy, BCL is a pleasantly flattering length (I just prefer a longer braid!).

If you want to see what it looks like on your hair take a picture as it is and then take a picture with your head tilted back.

No no real butt crack length comes from classic and onward when if you enjoy walking around in your house in the nude your hair have a tendency to find it's way there and get stuck so you have to ease it back out. :O That is butt crack length.

It sure was! I also prefer it a bit shorter, it has the added benefit of not flipping over my shoulder into whatever I'm leaning over at the time......which was once very memorably a bucket of milk :bull:

BCL and tailbone are not even 2 inches away from me, so I wouldn't really know. Compared to hip, it does have a slimming effect IMO.

This was BCL straightened, which I hate because of how thin the ends look from the stupid layers.

This was as soon as I reached TBL. I have kind of weird bun waves, but oh well.

I do think that hip length is not really flattering on most people, but I can't tell a difference (about the slimming effect) on BCL vs TBL.

yes if i'm not mistaken tbl does seem to have a slimming effect considering it's only a lil longer. Gosh you all have such amazing hair, these are my most fave lengths
