Cool article/video about how a Baltimore hairdresser discovered the key to ancient Roman hairstyles.

So my dad sent over this link because I like long hair and Graeco-Roman history, and I thought it was pretty cool, so now I'm sharing it with you. :)

The basic summary is that this hairdresser visited a museum and really liked one of the ancient hairdos she saw, and was told that it was simply done on a wig. She didn't believe that, and endeavoured to figure out how to do it on real hair. It reminds me a bit of Elizabethan Hair taping, because she sews most of the styles in, which I suppose makes sense. :)

She has a youtube channel, too! Now I wish my hair were long enough to do these styles... or I had a styling head... or I lived with girls rather than guys! :P

Really cool! I wish my sister-in-law still had her long hair, she was a Classics major in school and I would've had SO MUCH fun doing these 'dos with her!

Janet Stephens' videos are awesome, I've tried a couple of the styles on myself...particularly fond of the basic Cleopatra one :)
