So I can't claim this as my own, but it is pretty darn cute.

Here is the link to the original tutorial: http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/tutorials/messy-4-braid-updo.html

Here is my version:

I think it looks better on lighter hair but I still love it on me! It's a cute and easy way to make an up do. This was taken after 10 hours as well so it lasts!

I call this a horseshoe, if you follow the hairline at the nape you won't get the part at the back of your head :-P

Actually this looks easier then what I do since it is just four english braids! I may have to try this thanks!

Thanks! I will try not to part it so much next time but it's kinda hard when you can't see the back of your head ;)

Oh no the part is fine but when you braid the bottom if you did just a couple of turns like a lace braid following the nape it would hide the part totally.

Now I am just confused! :/ Haha...I will see what I can do though!

Cute indeed! I might actually have enough length to make this work. Thanks Joflakes!

That is super cute. I usually am pretty lazy and just do it with 2 english braids but next time I will have to try it with 4.

I should say that it is lovely all around and a lot easier then what I have been doing. Love a little boho!

Ha! I had that exact picture saved and was planning to do that with a friend's hair tomorrow for when we go to the Greek Festival in New Orleans.

I tried this yesterday as it was simple yet made a cool looking boho style :)

I tried it and ...it looks nice.I had to wrap one of the braids around the other two because it was very heavy and pulled at my roots. It might hold better with more bobby pins or a small hairstick, but I only had four bobby pins to secure each braid so it would probably undo itself if I planned to exercise today.

OOH! I'm all over that! I've tried something similar with two braids, but have to French braid my short sides.
I'll be sporting that cute boho messy do tomorrow! :grnbiggri
