2.5 inch trim at hair salon

last week was my one year lhc--iversary so, after a year of micro-trims, i decided to get a salon trim. i had about 2.5 inches cut off and the ends feel great and my hair looks better when i wear it down (which is not very often). however, it's surprising how much shorter my hair feels.
growing out bleach and color and heat damage is really really slow and tedious! having long hair is definitely a marathon and not a sprint. i guess one of the reasons i've never gotten past this length is that i don't do very well with "delayed gratification." my next goal is to make it to my 2-year lhc-hair-iversary with only micro-trims and henna/cassia. my siggy picture shows before the trim.

Oh your hair is such a beautiful colour! It seems like you regret losing the 2.5inches but with bleached damaged hair sometimes you just need it.
