Hey,
I just saw this video and want to share with you. At first I thought that this is another sad video about super long hair been chopped. But it wasn't. This hairdresser said that this hairstyle is an option for her (for the model) to experience with short hair without really cut it. It looks like at least classic (maybe even knee) length hair, and it so thick. This hairdresser is professional! I hope I will reach to her level one day (and be able to do this on myself..).

This video in russian, but I translated the main idea (and I know there some folks that know russian as well).

What an utterly gorgeous spiral braid! Wow! I wish someone would do that on me some day... it's one of those braids I can't envision being able to do myself.

OH MY Goodness... What an awesome hair style. It would take me Years to figure out how to do it and get it so nice. Beautiful model and HAIR!!

Beautiful hairstyle and great video - thanks for linking!

I definitely don't think I would have the wherewithal or arm strength to do this on my own hair, but it's a gorgeous look.

Boo; too many closeups of the stylist talking, not enough of what her fingers were doing.
Lovely result!

That is gorgeous. Nice to see a professional salon taking long hair seriously.

This comment made me laugh : "she should bleach her hair platinum blonde cut it up to her waist and it would look so smooth silky and flawless <3 oh my god"

Stunning hair in such superb condition. I love the elaborate braid and can only ever dream of ever having hair as long and beautiful as this. So glad it was not a cutting hair video, I hate those and there are a great many on youtube. Thanks for the link.

Made me laugh too, I doubt bleaching long hair would make it look "smooth" or "silky."

Great video and a pleasure to see healthy stunning knee-length hair. I also adore her multi-shade hair color.
It's refreshing to hear a hairdresser that is constantly deservedly calling this super-long hair "gorgeous".

That is one PATIENT hairdresser!
It is a relief to see a video with long hair in a salon that isn't being sliced away...

All I can say is: :agape:

This is stunning. The model, her hair, the hairdresser's skill...

This has inspired me to try a lace braid. At least then I'll be a millimetre closer to this breathtaking hairdo.

Your post reminded me that Miss Russia 2012 is super-long-haired Elizaveta Golovanova. Something's telling me that it must have been her hair that helped her win:

How amazing at the end when she tucks that arm length braid into the spiral and it disappears into the style!

Thigh length hair is so sexy. I want a blunt thick hemline so I can do this. I also have some Ukraine genes so I will hope it's the right ones. lol. I see the link that you attached- her hair is stunning. But I hope it was heatless curls... And her braid is so thick!!

Beautiful!

I showed the video to my DD and she finally asked for me to do the spiral braid on her! I did it this morning before school, here is the result:

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/46SjO1S6-434MzgxdQ4F7cv2IhgrV5-Pp0FnFGGzI8k=w149-h207-p-no

It was my first try at the spiral braid. I hope it withstands her day at school (I do not use hairspray, and I only used two hairpins to keep the ends tucked in, because I was in a hurry by the time I got to the end of this style). Also, pardon the bare concrete floor, I've been getting rid of the ugly vinyl flooring in my kitchen.
