I wonder how damaging this would be for your hair. I think it would be worth it for the stares. :stirpot:

Super cute! Unless it poops. I used to own snakes and snake poop was one of the worst smells I had ever smelled. I could tell if my snakes had pooped that day when I walked in the house!

That thought is faintly horrifying. Although I'm sure some enterprising LHCers would consider this a hair treatment. ;)

Me too. I have taken care of a lot of critters over the years, plus raised two humans. A little poop doesn't scare me anymore!

I had a friend who owned a king snake called Sarah.

He would open her tank and let her do her own thing sometimes and she always came out for a wander and headed for me.

She was lovely and so sweet.
She would come find me slither up one sleeve and have a snuggle on my chest and then go back down inside my other sleeve.
She never bit me nor pooped and she was very very pretty too..and loved affection.

This little one wrapped around the lady's hair reminds me of her just for sweetness.:0)

It was an actual snake. If you read the paragraph below the picture, it explains that.

I'm not afraid of snakes so I thought it was kind of adorable. Definitely can go without the snake poop, though. ;)

Snakes tend to go on a schedule, and since they also generally eat on a schedule (like once a week), you could probably time your "scrunchie" to a poop-free day. If the snake gets scared, though, all bets are off.

The worst is garter snake musk. It's not poop, but it is rank. Garter snakes are pretty active, so you'd never get one to stay in your hair--they're hunters. You'd need an ambush predator (like a python) for this. Really cool pic!

They make realistic rubber snakes, you could spear a wire through one... Idea!!

Green Tree Pythons are so beautiful! And I love how they change color from baby to adult.

I have a green snake pen which I use as a hairstick, but this scrunchee python is much cuter. :)

Now I wish it really was a scrunchie!! I have a snake stick, that always makes people jump when they first spot it, I LOVE it (he even has a name-George!), a scrunchie like that would be amazing!

I would have a snake in my hair gladly, though here in Noway owning snakes is forbidden, but hopefully that ban will be lifted and then I might get one, snakes are adorable. I have had rats, mice, hamsters, cats, puppies and birds on my head so why not a snake?

Ugh NO! Hell no! That's just downright creepy and disgusting. I have no fondness for snakes and I certainly don't want even a fake one in my hair.

Not to self: Stop letting snake go on bed.

When the corns are lazy, they love to head ride. Not too hard to remove from very curly hair, once you find the head.

Why is owning snakes forbidden, do you know? Is it only foreign snakes, or any at all?

I can't imagine my nosy little snake staying still long enough! Although if I could persuade her she'd love all the attention I'm sure!
