Hairstyle difficulty survey (for Hair Style Dictionary)

For Chatoyant Locks' Hair Style Dictionary I am taking a survery rating the difficulty level of hair styles.
The rating system is as follows:
a scale of 1 to 4:
1=easy
2=medium
3=hard
4=stunt level

I've rated only the ones I've personally tried....

I basically gave a "1" to anything that one can do with absolutely no special knowledge or guidance (ponytail, etc.), a "2" to things that require a bit of learning and/or that most LHCers can do (braid, Cinnabun), and a "3" to things that require more than 2 or 3 attempts to get right.

Even though I've never tried cornrows, I gave them a "4" because they seem to require more than two hands!

This is assuming doing those on yourself, right? I can do quite a few complicated things on other people's hair, but wouldn't even think of trying on myself. :) My own hair's texture doesn't encourage experimenting.

The 1s I could do before LHC, the 2s I learned after, but after trying with instructions once or twice I can now do them quite quickly. The 3s I've tried and I can do them, but I need several tries to make them, or they fall out, are crooked etc when I try them, so I go back to the others. French braiding gets a 4 because I can't do that at all even though I've known the theory since I was little. My hair is too smooth so I'd need at least one extra hand to keep things in place.

If you had links for my blog and ChatoyantLocks' thread for new styles (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=10999) it might be a bit easier, people could try some more styles if they feel they know too few and also tell us off for forgetting their favorite braid/bun/twist/random obscure thing:cool:

Doesn't difficulty of some styles vary with hair length/type? (For example, I gave cinnabuns a 3, because my hair tends to slide out of them with sudden movement -- but I know they are easy for many people.) Perhaps these variations will average out appropriately, though.:shrug::)

As a suggestion, perhaps in the Master file we could do things like
Braid, 3 strand
Braid, 4 strand
Braid, 5 strand

That way all the braids are together? Or not, it was just an idea :)

My intention when I write the program is to make styles searchable by type, so that when you enter in "braid" as a feature it will list all the styles that have braids in them.
