Today marks my official 2 year growth anniversary. :D I celebrated growing my hair past hip (I discovered I'm actually about half an inch or so from tailbone) and loosing about 40 lbs in two years by having a professional photo shoot with some girlfriends. I'm very pleased with myself for these goals and for actually having the cojones to step out of my shell today. Instead of being a wall flower I commanded the single shots and there are some very pretty ones with me in a water channeling a nymph. I can't wait to see them.
Anyhow, without further a do:

Today:
You can see my own natural wave in the ends. The tighter wave is from a half crown braid I made for the shoot and the one really straight piece on the left is from where I tried to curl my hair with a flat iron and failed. My hair's just too long for this method. I tried flat ironing the kinks and then said, 'screw it', wet the piece and ran out the door.

I'm also pleased to realize I'm almost at one length again. My hair would be so much longer if I had not focused on getting rid of layers. I didn't not even realize *how long* its gotten until just now that I put pictures side by side.
