Hey, I saw this video on youtube today:

And I have to say, I've always thought that if my hair was caught on a vacuum cleaner it would hurt, seems like I was wrong, and the little girl doesn't seem to complain. What do you guys think about it? You think the hair may get dusty or tangly? Or maybe there's nothing worng with it? Just wondering ^-^

It's not something I would ever try, but watching it in action was sort of entertaining.

Haha I''m guilty of trying that! (pre LHC of course) . . . I didn't do it to put in a pony tail though, I just wanted to see if it would do anything. Its actually a really good hair straightener!!! I'm not sure how damaging it is though.

It look about 30 times as long as doing a normal ponytail! That kid is cute though!

There is another one where it takes literally 5 seconds to do. They are kinda funny

I've seen a few of these on youtube now. This guy actually spends a lot more time making sure it'll be neat than the other dads do! The only reason I could see it being damaging, is that I'm sure some tangle-prone hair types might get tangles from it. And, ew, depending on the vaccuum and its history, I wouldn't really want my hair inside the hose.

This video is kind of sweet. The guy is so careful with the vacuum. Someone posted about another one of these videos a few months ago, with an older girl who has longer hair. Her ponytail took about two seconds to make.
