Next week it will be a year since I joined LHC and decided to grow out my pixie. I have only had one trim in that time which was only a really light dusting so I battled through the horrid mullet stage although to be fair I didn't seem to suffer a major mullet so while the journey has, at times, been hard going, it could have been worse. I am going to have another very light trim next week as I have spotted a few small spilts but then I'm going to see if I can go another year without any more trims.

I haven't got any pics from March last year but here is one from early May 2012
after I had had a trim:

This is one I took the other day (March 2013):

great job! It looks really good. I love how your ends are so cooperative--turning under very prettily. :)

Congratulations! Great growth. If that's how much you grow in ONE year, just imagine how much growth you'll get in two, three years !! Well done

Thanks everyone for the encouraging comments. It certainly doesn't feel like it grows fast on a day to day basis but looking at the difference in those pics it probably grows faster than it seems.

browneyedsusan, I cheated a bit in that pic and it had been lightly blow dryed as I was off out for a family meal, my ends are not usually that tame. I have a natural wave to my hair so it's usually much more unruly. :bounce:

Good growing! Your sig says your hair is chin length...but it's definitely longer! Well done!

I've highlighted chin as the sides are shorter than the back and are at about chin length. I'm tempted to change it to collar bone length but I'm going to hold out until the sides are there. :p
