She must be taller than me.I am about 5'6". My hair is 69" and my ponytail measures 58" long. Her ponytail is 63.5, so her hair is about 74" long.

That is really cool- I wonder if she's reached terminal yet? 74" is probably some of the longest hair I've heard of recently. That is a lot of hair! If it's over 6 ft long, then you're probably about right with your estimate.
From the video, it sounds like her hair is still growing!

(And LadyLongLocks- I just love your website! You've got such fabulous hair!! :flower: You're making me reconsider my length goal!)

The mom said they use claw clips a lot. I was hoping to see her use them in her hair. The Mom has really thick hair. I loved the part where her toddler was holding her hair and walking beside her.
The Mom was nice to donate some of hers, but Im sure it was to Locks of love.( someone needs to enlighten her) They show up at the Illinois State fair ponytail contests so I was told.She has won that contest a few years in a row.

Looking at Inside editions facebook page, I see a picture of this family of long hair but the caption read "Inside Edition is with the real life Rapunzel and her daughters when they go to a beauty shop to get their hair cut for the charity Locks of Love."
:rolleyes:Ohhhhh Nooooo! Has anyone seen the whole show?I read nothing about them cutting their hair on the Inside Edition site. This nice video has suddenly taken a turn for the worse after reading that on facebook!

Did you see the whole show? I just found out that they donated some hair to locks of love! It was posted on Inside Editions facebook page about them.Please let me know if you saw the entire show because I only saw the part where they were showing off their hair! I missed the show but am searching for it!

Would love to see the Moms hair now. Its probably at knees with a thick blunt cut. Probably looks nice. But the daughters hair would be at bsl or a little longer maybe. Now they can grow all over again, but someone needs to tell them about LOL!!!!!

That is a shame- I do hope their hair was used, but knowing how stringent their standards are, I'm going to hazard a guess that it probably wasn't. :(

I find it incredible that she still uses a blow dryer! Nothing wrong with it in itself, I wouldn't condemn anyone for it, but the damage they cause, and she has still been able to gorw so long, imagine the lengths without the dryer!!

Amazing footage, and the fact that she has all girls and all the girls have long hair is almost magical.

Some people use a blowdryer on low heat (or cool) and that doesn't really cause the kind of damage that blowdrying on a high setting would cause.

Beautiful hair...I am sure they feel super good about themselves for donating. When you hear about donating; it does sound like a good idea. But no one mentions the reality of what really happens with the hair or how LOL is making a TON of money off of peoples good intentions.

I didn't think it was rough shampooing at all. That's how we clarify the lengths over here too, the shampoo is almost kneaded through the lengths.
