and nearly as long since I've seen a picture of the back of my head. My kid took one today, demonstrating how very not spoiled my dog is (ahem), and I was taken aback by how much my hair has grown and decided to wander back to show it off.

I did layers and let my bangs grow out over the past 6 months or so and it's REALLY helped my hair. The hem isn't ragged, either, some of my hair's just tucked between me and the chair. I think I'm about to start maintaining, though.

Your hair is gorgeous!! Wow!! It's been a long time since I have posted too, and even longer since I took a picture of the back of my head! I know it may not look as good now, since I worked on my taper for soooooo long, and then I cut some layers on the sides again. It was just one of those situations where I got bored and wanted to try something new, but my hair is still long! (at my waist!). I know it felt good when I finally reached tailbone length, but maintaining at my waist has been my ideal length. My hair is very fine/thin... your hair looks so thick and beautiful!!!!

Thanks guys! For the compliments on my hair and my dog :P

I think sometimes just leaving it alone and forgetting it does better than paying attention to what's going on with it, at least for me. Much less frustration, anyway.
