View Full Version : Hair for twins, cutting tomorrow, suggestions?

Hi there!

One of my lifetime goals will be to grow my hair as long as it will possibly go, but I'm content to wait a bit for that one. In October of 2011, I chopped off a LOT of damage, going from classic length up to, oh, bra-strap length, maybe. I want a trim every year from now on so that I won't get in such a damaged tangly state again.

Well, this year I decided long hair will happen eventually, I don't need to be too concerned about it now. My twin sister is going through rough times socially, so I offered a fun birthday thing- I already want my trim- let's go and get our hair cut together! I offered to copy any haircut she picks so that we look like twins again.

The birthday haircut is tomorrow! So on short notice, what hairstyles do you think would look good on both of us?

You two already look like twins!! (Not to be discouraging - I think it's really cool because a lot of twins start to look more different as they grow older.)

I think that you two would look nice with almost any haircut.

I bet any type of bangs would look good on you more so side bangs or just parted down the middle. As well as maybe just face framing layers would look wonderful on you two as well. aha sorry, not the best as this.

You'd both look good in a chin length or ear length face-framing layered cut.

Hmm, I'm not too skilled at this sort of thing, but I'd say something whispy, and that brings out any natural waves, if you have 'em. I think bangs/a fringe could look good, as someone else suggested.

Hmm, I had bangs a lot when I was little. I'll see if I can find some photos.

I found a few pictures I like, though.

I really like this one.

I can't remember exactly how long Jessie's hair is now...

I like #7 best, then #1. Kind of depends on how much change you want from what you have had!

Wow, Ginnifer Goodwin is one of those people who can wear any hair she wants! So cute. But I think her pixie cut is a bit too short.

This one is cute

I liked this picture.

I always liked Amanda Tapping in Stargate

It took me forever to recall where I'd seen her- it's the girl from Spiderman!

I guess I'll load a bunch of pictures on my phone to show Jessie, and then I we'll browse those weird hair books at the salon too.
I'm just worried that we'll get there and there will be alien hairdos with nothing that looks "normal" in them. It's been a while since I got a real haircut...

Number 7 on first post!!!

I'm terrible at this too but I think it's a great idea!
