Weird angle but it was the best I could do! I'm growing out my hair natural after lightening it several years ago. From about the shoulders up it's all natural now, and it definitely looks healthier than the old stuff!

I've noticed this very cool affresco in my local duomo. The picture kinda sucks, but I had to zoom in as the part was enclosed (to protect the old paintings, I guess)

I finally got around to trying out this hairstyle. While it looked pretty, my scalp is unfortunately too sensitive to keep it in for more than a few hours. Also, my flyaways will never be tamed.

Thank you! :blossom: Hard to say. It depends on what type of braids I make and how many. I usually watch TV or youtube while doing this type of braid, so I've never timed it. But everything from half an hour to one and a half maybe? French braids and such takes longer time.

I trimmed my own hair following Feye's self trimming method for a U shaped hemline. I think it turned out quite alright and my hemline feels so much thicker even though i only took off about a couple of inches. The plus is that it doesn't look like i lost much length.

Thank you ;) yes, it's been a while..
I have a pretty difficult and stressful times behind me now, basically whole April and May was just a hell. A lot of work, too. Too much stress, bad eating, too often drinking alcohol... you got the picture. My hair didn't start shedding but it definitely is not growing as it used to before.
But I'm back on track now. Eating better and taking exercise. Just waiting for my mane to catch up;). Maybe I'll invest in some good hair vitamin.

From the looks of it I'm guessing some take off on the Chinese bun like I regularly wear.

But with the Moon it takes on a whole new dimension.

It's not really a braided Chinese bun, as the braids are woven around the moon rather than wrapped around the base :)

I think we do, I believe we discussed it briefly some time ago! At the moment, I'd say you are the closest to a hair twin on LHC, considering the length too. c: (Though your hair is longer, it's still similar enough to be able to compare textures despite gravity's influence, at least!) We get almost the exact same patterns near the roots, too. :0

I alternate between conditioner+oil+gel and conditioner+oil+cream+gel, or conditioner+oil+cream. (Sometimes without oil, but then it dries much faster.) I am looking forward to trying different products when they run out!

Wait. Your hair can get to Day 8 and still feel/look okay? On Day 4, my hair needs to be washed because it begins to get oily.
My scalp just doesn't get very oily! :) I think this is very individual. In winter, I can usually go 2 weeks and it still feels fine. In summer, it depends on weather, activity etc., but I rarely wash it more often than once a week. My main issue is dryness, so if my scalp still feels okay, I wash my hair when the strands start to feel too dry and they need to be rehydrated c:

I guess I’ll keep growing on until I feel comfortable to get out of the house and make an appointment to cut my hair, I have no idea when that will be
I’m not really in a hurry to cut my hair, but I’m kind of getting worried about my ends

I've found in my experience some curlys want straight hair and some straighties like curls

I liked my hair type when I was in my teens it was more 1b, but now that i'm mid 30 my hair has changed texture so I think its 1c/2a but too short to tell atm

If that's what you want, I hope so too then!
But even if it's a bit wavy, in my experience this texture is kind of inconsistent, after a few days I begin to lose my waves and my hair gets straighter and less defined
So if you don't encourage your hair to be more wavy, and maybe actively use techniques for it to dry straighter and such, I believe you could be happy with your hair even if it's a little wavy :)

Everybody has such nice hair!! I love all the lengths, colors, textures. Funny, how in the winter when there’s only sun for like 10 minutes a week, I would run outside to get a hair pic. Now that it’s summer and sunny most days, I haven’t taken any in months. You all are inspiring!!
