do layers grow out naturally when hair reaches terminal length? thus no need to get a hair trim if i have layered hair now yet i want terminal length fairytale hair ends?

Everybody's hair is layered to some degree because of the shed and regrow cycle (old hairs shed out, new hairs grow in). If you have had a layered haircut and grow it out without trimming, eventually the layers will blend in because of new growth and shedding. So unless you want to trim for an even appearance, don't worry about it. Just let it grow, trimming only obvious damage.
