Yep, I've heard a number of folks here report using it. Not being a beer drinker is a hinderance sometimes.

Yes, beer rinses are great! Btw, here's an old thread about beer rinses http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=55808 :)

I might try this. I have some older beer that I was using for bread just sitting around that I could use!

I tried it. It didn't do anything beneficial that I noticed.

I tried it and it didn't seem to do anything special. Maybe a touch more shine for the first day, but afterwards it was the same as normal.

I've tried it! I poured the beer over my head, massaged it in for a couple minutes, then CWCed it out. My hair came out WAY softer than normal and a bit shinier, too.

I've never tried it I tried vinegar rinses which dried my hair out I'm afraid this will too.

I have tried it and I liked it as I remember. It was a while ago. It gave me extra shine and sleekness.

Beer is supposed to give great shine. It does have to be proper beer though, not a lager.

I dont drink beer but ive tried a Guinness rinse a while back and it made my hair lovely and soft. My hair was hendigoed back then so id be too scared to try now in case it made my hair dark but i liked it at the time.

I do this if I'm planning on wearing my hair down that day. After conditioning my hair I'll pour half a bottle of beer (left sitting out for a while so it's flat) over my hair and let it sit there for a couple minutes, then rinse it out. It does give my hair more shine and helps me a lot with detangling.
