Soo, I've gone and got my hair cut. From Tailbone to an inch above waist. And I Love it

Needed to be done. Arthitis in shoulders is making haircare difficult.

It was at finger tip lenght now at elbow.

Anyways, the Lady was worried about cutting my hair so much shorter. Made sure

And made sure

And Made sure it was what I wanted

And when I said I wanted 6 inches off, she measuered every lenght.

Poor lady was in fits. I didnt think I was scary.

She had waist long hair herself. In wonderful condition :)

Wow a rare find, she sounds like a keeper.

Disclosure: No offence to any hairdressers reading this I know you are probably from the same mold mentioned by the OP

There are good hairdressers out there. You usually only hear about the bad ones. Congrats on finding and saying good things about a good one.

Great to hear!! :o

And I would be afraid too!! Even though you are ready 100%, we don't know it like you do. So its a scary thought of doing something so huge to someone. Theres a fear that they will turn their anger at themselves for the change into anger towards the hairdresser.

That is so great! I know they are out there. Just that people tend to complain about the bad ones more than they praise about the good ones. Glad you got what you wanted and that you love it! :D

Ohh, I was nervious. i didn't want a chop job

I made sure I was placed in a way i could also see my reflection behind me.

I have had hack jobs in the past. But trimming it myself for 6 years since then, and an odd trim at the Barbers (wich I also liked)
