View Full Version : Favorite Long Hair Tumblrs?

I wanted to share some of my favorite blogs to follow on tumblr. They aren't necessarily long hair-related, but the bloggers all have beautiful long hair:


http://louvrianne.tumblr.com <- Her hair is freaking amazing. She also occasionally posts updos.

http://scorpion-star.tumblr.com <- She sometimes wears wigs, but her natural hair is really pretty.

So, what are some of your favorite (sort of) long hair-centric tumblrs? They can be all about taking care of/growing long hair, or just have pretty pictures of long hair. Go!

I never go on tumblr... but in the past I have stumbled across a couple blogs that I enjoyed looking that.
Rapunzel's Daughters (http://rapunzelsdaughters.tumblr.com). Some tips, some updos, many photos. Usually they are of hair between shoulder and waist, but you can find the occasional "really long" hair, and many of the shorter pics are breathtaking. I also like that all textures are portrayed equally, you can see some really impressive heads of hair that are type 1, 2, 3 or 4.

(EDIT: I'm pretty sure none of these pictures belong to the "owner" of the blog and that few of them fall under fair use, and there are probably one or two LHC pics on there now that I think about it... but while it's there, might as well ogle.)

And someone posted about this one (http://long-hair-problems.tumblr.com/)a while back. It's really funny. No pictures, but it's worth a look at.

Ooooh this is my kind of thread! Nothing to contribute, as I'm sort of tumblr inept, but I'll lurk and add these blogs to my follow list :) :) :)


ETA: I was browsing through that Rapunzel's Daughters blog and have been looking through the sources for their reblogs. I'm really liking Frick Yeah Curly Hair (http://frickyeahcurlyhair.tumblr.com/) so far :D

I second Rapunzel's Daughters. There are beautiful male long-hairs on there too. I just don't like the occasional unnecessary nudity.

Forgot to add this one: lovelydyedlocks (http://lovelydyedlocks.tumblr.com). You can search images by length of hair as well as hair color, and a bunch of other stuff.

I've seen the long hair problems one, but I never got a chance to see the owner's hair.
All I can say now is WOW.
Wrist-length curls, they're just beautiful!

So did I. I think I just spent over an hour looking at all those girls with long, beautiful hair. Some of them made me veryyyyy jealous.

I looooove tumblr but Im not a member lol :p

I just like searching things there for inspiration and I always get caught up looking at a ton of different blogs.

i used to have a hair tumblr called Iwantpretty hair but I decided to delete it after I joined LHC. I kept forgetting to update it and decided to just keep my hair journal on here. But I still love tumblr lol

Uh, the weird feeling when you start to follow lots of hair tumblrs, pinterest boards and flickr albums, and your DBF's ex girlfriend start to show up everywhere........ No pressure, no, not at all....

And it is just a coincidence! I did not decide to grow my hair because of her hair, I didn't know about it, and mine was short when I met DBF as well so he didnt choose me because of my long hair!

I love your tumblr! It's great that you also include long hair in art, so much of it is gorgeous!
