Yes, your sister does look a lot like you! Very pretty accessories. How long is your sister's hair? Just asking since we can't tell length from an updo, and I was curious if the long hair runs in your family. :)

Very lovely! Makes me want to recreate something similar for my date with my husband this coming weekend.

If you don't mind, could you explain where there braid is coming from? I assume somewhere that is being covered by the flowers.

It's lace trim, actually~ and yes, my sister has very long blonde hair. I'll have to get her to let me take a length picture!

Thanks everybody for all the views and comments!

Thank you! The flowers in her hair are actually a section of the lace trim that was on her dress. She cut out the flowers then sewed loops on the backs with a little bit of thread. She stuck bobby pins through the loops and held the flowers in place that way.

Beautiful hair runs in the family.

Sure! Somebody on Youtube has done a video about this look. I'm sorry I can't remember the link. You put your hair in a ponytail, then pull your hair through the donut until the donut is right over your ponytail holder against your head. Lean forward and arrange your hair to cover the donut completely. Then put a ponytail holder around the base of your hair-covered donut to hold it all in place. Gather the left-over length of your hair and braid it. Then wrap the braid around the base of your bun. Ta-da!

(I hope this makes sense!)

Have a great time on your date!

Very nice! I love the accent, nice job.

And although my hair is long enough to do this, I would not be able to cover anything - my hair is so thin. :(
