I'm curious about sunflower oil. I want to try it out, but I'd like to get some opinions on it. Has anyone used sunflower oil to lightly oil their hair? Does it give more slip and less tangles? Does it wash out easily? What are some pros/cons?

I've never tried using sunflower oil (I stick to coconut). I'm not sure if it's an oil that can be absorbed into your hair, or if it just sits on the outside of the hairshaft. Either way, start off by using just the tiniest amount spread between your palms and then smoothed onto your hair. It's easy to add more if you feel you need to, but much harder to remove it without washing properly. Let us know how it works out! I'm very curious. Maybe other people here have tried it before and can chime in.

It's a ceramide oil, always good to throw in the mix

Ime they do act on porosity and gave my hair a stronger strand feeling, kinda similar to protein rx's or neem oil.

It should be good for sensitives scalps as well. It provides a protective barrier on skin to maintain moisture and prevent infection.
