(late) growth-iversary! And please help me hair type D:

So, basically, i intended to post these progress pictures in September, but then I didn't because I suck ;D
I've been lurking around a little bit recently and I thought i'd share my hair growth progress! I'm still quite a way off where I want to be but i've spent the last 18 months or so trimming almost all of my new growth, hence the slow progress :(

Start: this was September '09, i still do not know what possessed me to cut my BSL hair so short

This was one year's growth (look at how wavy it is here compared to now ... I miss my waves D=)

Then back in March/April I decided that a fringe (bangs) was the way to go ...

Swiftly changed my mind and started growing it out in May ...

And then these are some actual length pics from October ... My hair has gotten soooo straight since I cut my layers! I'm thinking it's not a 1b or possibly a 1a - what do you think?

So that's what I've managed in 3 years ... I know it's not that much lengthwise but I'm still fairly pleased - although I'm kicking myself over cutting that fringe *sigh*

Your hair looks really nice, that's some really nice growth! And bangs look lovely on you I think.
To determine your hair type, it must be clarified and untouched - no conditioner or brushing... I'm guessing you didn't do that, still in those pictures I'd say 1a/1b.

If those are all clarified and air dried with no touching pics, I'd lean 1b/1c. If none of the pics are of clarified, air dried and untouched hair, we can't really tell a type (tho my 1c hair will cheerfully look just as straight as yours sometimes!).

I don't think your hemline looks at all uneven. Very flattering strong U or soft V shape.

I would guess 1c. 1c can look much wavier with layers, because each layer waves in a different place causing it to look like it has more waves. You can see a wave (just one lol) in the last picture, as well.

Pretty hair! I'm going with 1b as it looks like it has more movement than 1a (and looks as if it could be encouraged to wave a little), but seems too straight to be 1c.

Lovely hair. I would actually say 1c as your hair is quite wavy in that layered photo. I class my own hair as 1b because it is pretty much straight with a very slight, barely noticeable wave and can hold braid waves and curls well, but your hair is definitely wavier than mine. I class 1a as absolutely stick straight.
