Suave's jumping on the Moroccanoil bandwagon and is going to launch a new line called Moroccan Infusion. It's supposed to contain real argan oil and the fragrance is described as "luxurious". There are six products in the line: a Color Care shampoo and conditioner, Shine shampoo and conditioner, Deep Conditioning Shine Mask, and a Styling Oil. There are no dates for release and I couldn't find an ingredients list, but Suave has set up a web site:

http://www.suave.com/moroccan-infusion/argan-oil-products/default.aspx

Thoughts? As usual I am interested in knowing what it smells like, LOL. I really like Suave's Keratin Infusion conditioner (haven't tried the styling products and the shampoo was meh) but the smell is too much for me-- it's an overbearing men's cologne type scent. A real shame because the formula is one of the most moisturizing I've come across at the drugstore. I hope the Moroccan Infusion line will be just as rich-- but not as smelly!

Anyone else interested in this?

Suave's only cone free is their coconut? That's odd, I thought they had a whole line of them :(

Oh that's too bad :( You know often times I wish that companies would be more careful about the scents they use. Sometimes it seems like an afterthought when in reality scent is an important factor in choosing a personal care product-- especially something like conditioner which will linger in your hair, so close to your nose!

Sillage, I find that the smell of nearly all conditioners disappears from my hair as it dries. The only one conditioners that leave their scents in my hair after it's dry are Garnier Fall Fight and Garnier Long&Strong. As far as I know Long&Strong has been discontinued/changed to Length&Strength, which I haven't tried yet. The only scents in shampoos/conditioners that I really can't stand are scents of men's fragrances and after shave lotions.

I notice that Garnier conditioners linger too, Biogirl. The only conditioner that really lingers in my hair that bothers me is Suave Keratin. A pity because as I said before it's a great formula-- very rich.

I'd really love to try this and I'll be on the lookout for it. I hope it doesn't have cones but I have a very strong feeling it will.

Good job on finding the ingredients Maelyssa :) I had to LOL at the argan oil being all the way at the bottom in between the preservatives! Oh well, I'm not surprised it's just there for marketing effect. I guess it would be too expensive to make it a larger part of the formulation. Still interested in giving this a try since the central ingredients are cetearyl alcohol, dimethicone, and stearamidopropyl dimethlamine -- the same ones in the Keratin Infusion conditioner that I like so much.

Saw this at Wal-Mart yesterday, didn't purchase it though. The shampoo smelled phenomenal, but the conditioner didn't. :( I'm still thinking of trying it lol!

I take it back Sillage. :)

I purchased the shine shampoo and conditioner and they both smell wonderful, the shampoo of course has the stronger scent of the two. The conditioner that I said didn't smell as wonderful was the color care one, but maybe the scent was just off in that bottle.

I say give it a try, and hope the conditioner is to your liking. :)

YAY!!!!! :)

That's great news and I will def. go for the Shine conditioner rather than the Color Care (they never seem to make a difference on my colored hair anyway). Thank you for the update!

I really hope you enjoy it, and you're welcome. :)

Another update- I am really loving this line! At first I was thinking it was just meh but it makes my hair look lovely. It has really brought out my natural hair color, and does not weigh the hair down. Also, the shampoo even though it isn't sulfate free it feels gentle. So luxurious, and leaves my hair feeling nicely pampered. :) But word of warning for those with thicker/coarser hair or anyone who wants a heavy conditioner, this one is not heavy at all. In fact, it feels very light weight but certainly does condition and detangle well enough for me though I do have to use a bit more versus a heavier conditioner. It also doesn't seem to help with my static, but I didn't expect it to.

Here's a pic of my hair that I took this evening (washed my hair last night):

Please excuse my messy vanity, and my hair looks slightly "wavy" from being in a bun all day and a little fluffy due to being brushed out.

I have no idea why it came out sideways, and I can't figure out how to flip it. Sorry. :/

Boo. There are three ingredients I can't have (highlighted in quote). All three are formaldehyde releasers and i am allergic to it. :(

No problem ;)

I don't think I;ll be picking up anything new for a while because of the Use Up Your Stash Challenge. I have to work my way thru 5 bottles of regular conditioner before I get to buy more. Since I only shampoo/condition every other day it's going to take me FOREVER! ;_;
