BSL+ by christmas 2013

I had really hoped to reach BSL this year, but it seems that is not going to happen. Too many scissor happy hairdressers, and a major shed. But I will get there by next year, maybe even longer than BSL.

So, this is a thread for all of us, who didn't make it this year, but hoping to make it next year! Post pics, share tips, plans and other stuff. Now who is with me? :D

I made it again for the second time. I had a shed this summer and a scissor happy hair dresser. Maybe we need to join the no trims for 2013.

I have strongly considered it actually, I just don't know if my hair can handle that. But I will probably try to trim less often, and less than my hairdressers take off (I invested in a crew clip, so I am hoping to gain a little more growth next year).

But we will be there next year! :)

I think I will hit BSL in January, so definitely on board and cheering everyone who joins :)

I have just hit BSL but considering the amount of damage I have from the past years I will have to start trimming it off. Future will tell if I have to maintain at BSL until my hair is healthy or if it will be possible to keep growing it toward waist while trimming off the damage. :) For sure I will be BSL+ by next christmas.. I'm just not sure how much + that is :D

I am BSL now, but not a "solid" one, in a couple of weeks I might be...we'll see..

Me, me, me! :) I've also had a major shed, and I was pretty scissor happy, because my ends were so thin (also from some previous damage ). I'm around an inch or a bit more above APL right now, but with unstretched hair. I would like to see, if I can make it. I'm planing to trim at least every 6 months half an inch or just dust every 3 to 4 months.

The picture is from October, just before I had a little trim, so it mostly grew back to similar length.

Yey! I am in.... I hope I can reach and pass BSL in 2013... I will continue trimming the ends and hopefully have softer, shinier, healthier hair this coming year... ;)
