easy hairstyles for APL/BLS?

Hello all,
does anyone know some easy hairstyles for APL length? I have layers and my hair are a bit bellow APL (I think). I usually wear my hair down when inside and in a hair clip when outside, but I would like to try something new and bit more adventurous :) Is it even possible to make any nice looking bun with this lenght?
I would check the article section, but it seems it is still under maintanence...

A quick and simple hairstyle that I like to do is to braid my hair in a regular (English) braid. Then, instead of securing the braid with an elastic, I use a jaw clip to pin the end of the braid to the back of my head. The ends of the braid will hang down like a little pony tail. It is easy, comfortable, and looks cute.
