Voting yes especially with the angle you took the pic. A more straight on picture will certainly show you at waist!

I also agree that if you were standing up straighter it would be solid at waist. Congratulations and you have super gorgeous, thick, shiny, healthy hair!

You have very pretty hair, and if it's not quite waist it's super close! (I think it's hard to tell... but if it was stretched I think it'd definitely be there!)

Hey, well done on reaching waist ;)
I agree that you enjoy it more when you leave your hair alone, and it just sneaks up on you. It's looking lovely and shiny with you, well done.

Oh my !! I just realized we're practically neighbhors! Oregon I see!! This might sound weird but I am quite surprised. For some reason I did not think anybody else around me would want to grow their hair long? I'm weird. Any tips? I am just so impaitient! Do you wear it up quite often, or down?

Exactly, Ive found out that if I simply care for it and dont obsess about the length... I not only enjoy my hair more, but the length will make me happier when I DO look at it!

Yep! Been in Oregon literally my whole life!
lol, it seems there arent many people in my immediate are on LHC, which makes me sad. :(
I wear it up a TON actually. At first I couldnt bring myself to hide it in updos, but eventually I preferred it most of the time. Plus with working at a Daycare, its terrifying to wear it down.
I usually only wear it down for one MAYBE two days after washing it, which is usually once a weekish.

I want to start wearing my hair up too. I think its just a whole lot better. I kind of feel like it protects it, and makes it grow faster? Maybe its because you just kind of ignore it. Do you have any updo ideas for beginners, or some of your favorites?

Try the Lazy Wrap bun, and if your hair is long enough a Nautilus.
Those are the absolute easiest for me.
All you need is a Hair Stick or Fork, super simple.

By the way, OP, I've been looking for a while for a non-blasphemous, non-offensive exclamation, I think Holy Cheese shall be it.

Hope you don't mind if I filch it and pepper it into conversations in my life. :cheese:
