I had a hair cut while we were down :)

My first "real" haircut in 4 years or so. I wanted a couple of inches off the ends, a u-ish shape, and some layers cut in, which is exactly what I got... though I think he took off a few inches from the tippy tip rather than a couple. It'll do. I think it looks darker since all the sun-bleached ends were removed! I like it a lot but I am missing the extra length a bit so I think I'll grow it out a bit before I go back.

Your new cut is fabulous. It will be a fun change and also how nice to have the bleached ends off. It's nice to have a small change once in a while but still have long hair. Enjoy!

Looks beautiful! You know, I've been thinking of having the exact same thing done. U-shape with layers. But I've never actually had my hair cut at a salon, so I'm a bit nervous about that bit... I really wouldn't want too much cut off.

Thanks all! UltraBella, it is surprising how much darker it looks. No one at work noticed that I had it cut, but one co-worker did ask if I had dyed it :)
