I have thick hair and work around food, so I usually wear my hair up to keep from getting a headache. Lately, I've been wearing it in a french braid-but it gets boring and its not the most flattering when I take off my "sexy" work hat. Any ideas???

Are you in the kitchen or wait staff? I waited tables for years although I do not have anything close to thick hair I found pig tails worked pretty well. I would flip them over my head and fasten them German /Swedish style or tuck the end into the others rubber band over the nape of my neck to mix it up a bit.

I dont have as long as hair as your eather but I thought these styles were cute and easy.
An extra bonus was I had great waves for after work play time.

Hope that helps. good luck :)

I don't know how your hat fits, but have you ever tried a simple french twist. They are quick and easy and gives straight hair a little wave and a lot of body when it comes down. Also a bun on the top of the head always looks nice and keeps the hair out of the face.
