About a week ago i had my hair cut at a salon the first time in 3 years as i had some really thin pieces the fault of another stylist who thought blending in a fringe meant slashing through the sides of my hair.

I understood i would have to lose some length so i could start growing it out but they agreed they would only take a inch i think they took far more off than that maybe 2 inches. In my opinion if more needs to come off they need to say so .

Guess i won't be needing a cut for a good 6 months now, nice thick ends.

I'm sorry they took more than you wanted. :flower: Too bad there's nothing you can do about it.

It looks lovely though, a really nice colour too! Last trim I went for they took a couple of inches off mine too (or 3/4 months as I thought of it :() It just means your hair will be in even better condition as it grows. :)

I think your hemline looks very neat and looks like there isn't cut much off! :) But I understand how you feel about loosing length...

Doesn't look like they took much off to me. It just looks like it because you're wearing different clothes and the shirt doesn't finish at the same spot on your body in each. You also can't see any "landmarks" (where your waist or elbows are) in the first picture because of the colour of the top. This all results in the hair looking shorter when it actually isn't much.

Unless you actually saw two inches of hair on the floor, or measured it before or after, I'd say it looks like they did pretty much what you asked.

I don't think it looks bad at all, but I understand how hard it is to let someone cut it when you've worked so hard for so long to see it grow.
