Tenderheaded

I was combing my hair out and was reminded with every stroke how tenderheaded I am.

Is anyone else here tenderheaded? How do you detangle your hair without wanting to break out the buzzer?

I've always been extremelly tenderheaded, my scalp basically screams bloody murder if anyone but me or my niece brushes it. i have learned to soothe it by using a BBB and only combing when wet to detangle and even then (wet) I comb my hair very gently.

For me it's simply a grit and bare it kind of thing, if my scalp hurts i take extra care to detangle with my fingers before using the comb or brush. perhaps you could try finger combing your hair? it's easier on the scalp and i've been told that curly haired people have better results with finger combing.
