Hey guys so recently I have went cone and sulfate free. So I always thought cones were anything that ended in a cone or one however someone on another post I just read said that if something ends in an 'one' then it is not a cone. And that if something ends in xane it is also a cone. I'm just really confused! What should I be looking out for when reading lists to try and be cone free?

Blaketob, cones end in cone, xane, and if I'm not mistaken onol. If you see something that ends in just one, then it's likely a preservative and you should be okay using it unless you have a reaction to that preservative.

Yes that deffinately helps. I checked my products this morning and luckily none of them have any cones so I'm still cone free :)

frogs, where did you find this list? I didn't know that dimethicone copolyol is a cone.
