Wedding hair

I just got officially engaged a couple of weeks ago. :cheese: So now I'm trying to figure out what to do to my hair. I've got somewhat-damaged, fine, ultra-straight, medium-thick hair. It's mid back length with some layers. I really want a big, soft, updo with some volume. I'm not scared of heat styling or teasing since it's just the one day, but I don't want to totally trash my hair either.

Does anyone have any styles that might work on my hair type that I could practice?

Can I see your wedding hair, even if it's totally different, so I can live vicariously through your lovely hair? I love wedding pictures!
