Updos that dont wreck your curls?

This might be a lost cause, but I was hoping one of my fellow curlies had a secret updo that would not make my curls all limp when I take them down. Any thoughts?

I've been wondering this too!

The best I can do is an updo where you loosly pile your hair into a ball in the back of your head an clip it with the biggest set of jaws you can find! Haha. It still ruins them if you accidentally strech one out too far, or compress one really tightly. As long as it's not up for too long, it works, though!

What I've found is that if you can put it up without twisting, you'll keep the curl more. Ditto, without stretching/fastening it tight.

I'm subscribing to this thread because I'd like to know, too. - Not that I have many options at this length, but this may be useful for when my hair is longer.
