I can't believe I've been a member of this community for five years already! I am so grateful to this website for helping me realize my dreams of beautiful long hair. When I joined, it seemed like my goals were so far away; my fried and frizzy hair had never been longer than BSL, and I didn't really believe that my hair was capable of being something I could be proud of. And now, I can't imagine not being a longhair. This is one of the most supportive online communities I've ever been a member of, and I'm so happy to be a part of it-- even if I do spend most of my time lurking in the shadows nowadays. :p

And it makes me super happy to hear that seeing my progress is inspiring to some of you guys. I remember how far away my goals felt when I first started growing. I couldn't believe that any of the amazing longhairs on here could have ever had hair as ugly and fried as mine was... Just goes to show you that it really doesn't matter what you are starting with-- if you are patient and loving with your hair, you can get the results you want. :)
