TLHC saved my hair! Pics

I'm just so grateful for all the precious pieces of information I've been given on this forum!!

Last time my hair was WL hair 5 yrs ago, I had no idea how to take care of it. I never used oils or treatments, never trimmed, I dyed it, abused it and it felt really dry. Blow drying, brushing violently with an awful brush etc etc.. the hair got knotty all the time and formed dreads every day, which was the main reason I chopped it all away.

Now I don't have any of those problems anymore. And it's not like now I'm using some expensive miraculous hair care products! Just oiling the ends every once in a while, hennaing, sleeping with updo, more natural shampoos... and just NOT ABUSING. Never thought hair care could be so easy and effortless once learned. Never thought I could have healthy, shiny hair I always wanted. This forum is just priceless.:joy:

Shepherdess, you asked about my natural colour, well it's the same lightness level as it is now but only not that red. Light brown mostly but bottom layers are medium brown.
PandorasBox89, the picture with black hair is really like 5 years ago. I got dreads done to it, and got sick of dreads within a month so I chopped them to pixie. I didn't even try to get the black out of it, my hair is not strongest and thickest so I think it would have fallen off if I tried to bleach it several times in a row. When it comes to fine, wurly hair there's no turning back from black.
