Hi Everyone,

I have always worn my hair down at work but now that it is starting to grow I would like to start wearing it up more.

My problem is I have ear piercings that my boss would not approve of and my hair has always hidden them. My earrings are all 14g and if I leave them out for afew hours they close back to 20g.

I am looking for some simple updos that will cover my ears if that is possible. My Hair is APL length (BSL when stretched), almost 3a type and the bangs that I am growing out are halfway between chin and collarbone length.

I would recommend a bun that uses a hair elastic as a base. That way you can tie your hair back and pull two 'wings' loose to swoop over your ears and cover them before you bun the rest. Does that make any sense?

Pulling your hair back like this then bunning it would work:

Or if you fancy resurrecting an older style, leave the front few inches out when you fasten the rest of your hair back, then twist or braid them starting below your ear and wrap the twists/braids around the rest of the hair. Like this but pulled over the ear more:
