Am I At APL????

I am hoping that I am finally at APL. Please excuse the state of my hair...I am just getting ready to wash and I have braid waves from bed. My hair is a wee bit longer when it is straight and not braided. You can click through the pictures if you go to this one link. The last two of the six are my hair back in March. Is this good progress since then?

Streigtend I think you can say it APL. You hair looks very thick and healthy.

To me it looks like you're past APL, that's very nice progress in only 6 months :)

That's definitely good progress. Your hair certainly looks APL from the front.

I'd say APL. With braid waves it looks to me like you're touching the APL line. And your hair's longer when it's straight, so... ;)

Thank you all so much! This made my day. I've been growing out so long it seems. Now on to BSL, I guess. I'm rewarding my hair today by giving it some special moisture treatments. Isn't that silly: rewarding my hair! Oh, well, I'm happy. I can tolerate a little silly. :)

So exciting! I've even got DH trained. He congratulated me without being sarcastic and said he was so happy for me! lol :D

It does take some time to hair train them but it's so worth the effort! I love when DH is impressed with my progress. His sarcasm has diminished quite a bit lately. Yaaay!!

Keep up with your hair pics since measuring can be frustrating sometimes. Onto BSL for you! :D

haha, yes I used to get asked, "How's your hair journey?" in an overly sweet and concerned voice. Now he's a bit better. I don't like to measure in inches, I'd rather measure by milestones as to where the length is. With inches it's never the same twice. Looking back at the pics, I can't believe how much it grew. It certainly didn't feel like it was growing that fast.

Maybe you can give me some pointers for training my DH;) He just wants me to keep my hair short. I'm learning not to talk to him about my hair goals, but wish I had more support from him.

My DH is pretty easy going, although I think he loved my hair best when I had a super short pixie. He gradually became more supportive when he saw how important it was to me. Maybe once your hair gets longer he will learn to appreciate how beautiful long hair can be. Or you could tell him that you won't spend as much money at the salon if you don't have to maintain a short cut. DH always smiles when I remind him of that. :p

With your waves no id say you have an inch or so, but straight I'd say you have just reached it, well done!
